YAI was established in 2006 by Liberian activist and civil war survivor Kimmie Weeks. Integrum Scientific, LLC, is an Outbreak Readiness and Response company founded to reduce the impact of infectious disease outbreaks, especially in the most vulnerable regions of the world. Integrum provides a new paradigm for outbreak response and the conduct of clinical trials for medical countermeasures (MCMs). Kimmie Weeks serves on the Advisory Board of Integrum Scientific.
